For its 17th Cannes Film Festival, jeweller de GRISOGONO presents its Haute Joaillerie creations in colours.
Creations to be mixed and matches as desired; electrifying jewellery sets in dazzling shades that will bring vivid colour to the red carpet…
Until the early 1930s, the art of colour in cinema was in two-colour mode: red and green.
Red, Ultra-feminine and Seductive
Its flamboyant scarlet nature embodies a peaceful feminine takeover, elegantly catching the light and drawing all eyes. It is the unmistakable heroine, the most appealing of all gems. Striking a powerful contrast with pure white, it offers a vivid reminder that the brightest of shades stems from three primary colours: red, green and blue.
Green, Glamorous and Rebellious
A brilliant green infused with contemporary energy, nature’s pigment flaunts its rich and luxuriant hue through a powerful, intense green emerald characterised by extreme purity and transparency.
Offering a twist on the black technique used in films to heighten the contrast of the final print,
de GRISOGONO enhances this unique creation with its emblematic chiaroscuro effect.
Blue, Sensual and Inspirational
A clear blue hue, as infinite as the sky and sea, shines through an oval-cut sapphire.
In a resolutely couture-style trio, de GRISOGONO mingles the tender and deep chromatic nuances of sapphire, diamonds and emeralds.
Yellow, Optimistic and Luminous
A universal, deliberate and literal symbol of the sun, yellow blends freely with the chromatic circle – black, grey, navy blue, emerald green, denim blue, bright blue, white, khaki, as well as shades of beige, orange and pink. A yellow diamond reflecting the sun, igniting everything it touches and radiating a dazzling glory that accentuates the contrast between light and shade.
In a preview unveiling of five Haute Joaillerie rings, de GRISOGONO has instilled in its creations the first three colours of cinema: emerald green, ruby red and sapphire blue. Three colours that give life through subtractive synthesis to three new shades: magenta, cyan and yellow, joined by the trendiest secondary colour of them all, combining red and blue into purple.
A collection as rich in nuances as a chromatic circle. Creations to be mixed and matches as desired electrifying jewellery sets in dazzling shades that will bring vivid colour to the red carpet.
Magenta, Strong in Pink
Offering a combination of warm and cold tones, magenta pink exercises powerful visual appeal with its tangy, distinctive shades.
Elegant, powerful and stylish, magenta exudes an alliance of strength and balance whose character is highlighted through opposition. Set against a contrasting black background, it naturally draws attention, surprises and dares; while radiating an ultra-sophisticated look when paired with white.
Wonderful in purple
Its distinguished natural allure comes to life through the subtle charms of amethyst. Bold nuances reveal the warm and cold tones of purple, ranging from light to very dark.
In full colours mode, adorned with de GRISOGONO creations, the red carpet will be resolutely
multicoloured
